Building dignified, sustainable tiny home communities for seniors, veterans, and disabled residents.

Born From Real-World Experience & Compassion

For over 45 years, our leadership has worked at the intersection of real estate and community development. Over decades of industry experience, one reality became impossible to ignore: aging family members, honored military veterans, and individuals with physical disabilities were increasingly priced out of safe, comfortable housing.

MTR Consulting LLC was established in Indio, California, to directly address this crisis. By focusing on master-planned tiny home villages, we replace costly, impersonal housing models with sustainable, budget-friendly communities built around human connection.

Rick — Founder & Principal Consultant

With more than four decades of hands-on real estate experience, Rick brings deep technical knowledge and personal commitment to every community development project. Having witnessed firsthand the housing challenges faced by seniors and veterans on fixed incomes, Rick founded MTR Consulting to turn vacant land into thriving, purpose-built neighborhoods.

Rick’s approach is direct and collaborative: he sits down with landowners, city officials, and advocates to understand exact project needs, then coordinates every phase—from initial land acquisition to final resident move-in.
